Annual Trip to The Windy City- The Bean

Almost a year later exactly, I took a trip down to Chicago again, but this time with a different set of people and with me at an entirely different place in my life, in so many ways. Of course, we HAD to take sill pictures in front of The Bean, like everyone does, except this time, we tried to get a little more creative with things and explore crazy shapes and silly stunts. Some were more successful than others, to say the least. At one point, we were even being videotaped by someone who was caputuring footage for a Prudential video of some sort. It was hilarious! The more 'normal' and tourist-y ones were actually taken by a lady named Valerie, who basically conned us into donating $1 each to an organisation she supposedly works for. She told us she worked for the parks and offered to take pictures for us. Then she routinely told us to go into specific poses as she snapped pictures of us. This was proceeded by a whole schpiel she rambled on about the organisation she represented. And might I add, all this was done with a very stoic and unpleasant demeanor. In the end, we didn't quite know what else to do but give her the money she was asking for.
