Sticking To It

Ok, so I have never been a fan of the Tyra Show, but due to a lack of anything else entertaining on tv tonight, I watched it. It featured these 5 women who were on the Curves challenge to lose weight and change their lifestyle for the better, all to be done in 5 weeks. I was so motivated after watching it to get my butt to the gym more often than I am right now and lose the 10 pounds that is really making me unhappy with myself and see myself in a very bad light. I just felt like I needed to properly document my plan, hopefully to better my chances of success. I am going to wrok out at the gym at 7 in the morning, seeing that it's really the ony available time I have, at least twice during the weekdays and then sometime during the weekends. I need to get the 10 pounds off of me! It's high time I stuck to a resolution and stayed dedicated and determined to my goal. After all, that's the characteristic that got me here in the first place. Go Go GO!!!

My Addiction...

So after browsing through other online stores (I've been THAT bored lately), I finally decided on these 2 items from forever21.com I know, it's not the most exciting store to shop online, but everything's cheap and lovely and of pretty good quality too. Not to mention, I have been looking all over for a pair of boots like these that I didn't mind spending money on...these were $24.95! And the necklace was on sale for $2.99! These have made me a happy girl.

I'd Like To Buy These!

Some things I found whie browsing through theurbancollection.com and vintagefabulous.com
I'm still debating whether or not to buy the brown shirt and the skirt. They're so fabulous and cheap too! But the many purchases I made on my Madison tirp has deemed me guilty and a tad bit ashamed...I saw the oxfords and fell immediately in love with them and they don;t cost too much either! But I think I may abstain...Oh the woes of having such an obsession for material goods.

Attitude

Oh...the French definitely have it right. My new favourite fashion blog to frequent is www.farancedore.fr It has photographs of the most beautiful and fashionable people simply walking the streets of Paris. I love how effortless every single look featured seems to be. Not to mention the long, windswept locks of the French girls...such an understated elegance to it. I now miss my long hair. I probably should start growing it out and stop getting it trimmed every month. I strive for the fluent looks of La Rive Gauche and panache of La Rive Droite.

Finally...A City!

ACDFA 08' Madison

A high-waisted jean, a battle circle, entrechat quartres, fouette turns, breakdancing, hip hop music galore, bumpin' and grindin', apple bottom jeans...?, hair flips, sweat, alcohol, a too small disco ball...this is how we roll.

Madison Shopping List

We'll be driving up to Madison this coming Thursday for the dance cnference, ACDFA and I'm definitely going to take that as an opportunity to get some shopping done as well as cramp as many dance classes into the 4 days as possible. I've been anticipating this weekend for a while now and it's time I made my shopping list!

1. Oversized, fabulous purse
2. Oxfords...still, or heeled shoes
3. Bangles, many of them
4. Big, dangling and colourful earrings
5. I could ALWAYS use more dresses...casual and chic ones
6. Bras that actually fit properly
7. Maybe another American Apparel pencil skirt...I love it that much

I need to keep up with the fashion trends and so I'll be looking for items with floral print, frills, fur and lots of colour. After all, spring is coming and I'll want to be welcoming it in looking fierce and jubilant!
