Another Day For Jumpers

I am loving this jumper more and more ever since I hemmed up the bottom of the shorts. They were a really bizarre length that made my body look really truncated and my derriere really flat. And everyone knows that's never a good thing. BUt now I'm loving the length so much more and it looks good with a belt too, an Hermes one to be exact. I'm definitely going to be wearing this more often now.

Cheap and Chic

It seems like these days I've been pulling out clothing items that I haven't worn in a really long time. I don't wear this Moschino top too often beacuse it makes my neck itch if I wear it for too long and that's why I have to wear another shirt underneath it. It's like angora, mohair-y. At least it keeps me feeling warm. And the little heart-shaped buttons are just too cute to resist!

That Vest and That Skirt

It was so beautiful out, that Sunday morning and so I couldn't resist wearing my new high waisted pencil skirt from American Apparel and pairing it with my 'yak' vest. I hardly ever wear it and I had totally forgot about it till that morning when I was deciding what to wear to church. Too bad the warm weather lasted for only that one day.

That Was Just A Dream

Ice Ice Ice

So I take back some of what I had said about the snow...it was actually really pretty and a definite sight for sore eyes yesterday night as I was walking back home from rehearsal. The night suddenly seemed all the more tranquil and the stark white-ness of literally everything in the landscape was positively picturesque. I couldn't help but stop and whip out my camera to capture the moment. The first time in 2 years I've actually enjoyed just looking at the snow and the mounds of snow for that matter. I must have been looking from 2 inches deep into my eyes.

Not Yet Till Next Winter

I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up. I feel like I don't wear anything that is remotely chic anymore. It's far too cold out to put on anything less than jeans and a puffy coat, of which I do adore, just not if I have to forcefully put it on every single day. This girl needs some variety in her life. And it's absolute bull crap to prohibit me from wearing jeans when ushering. I'm not going to take fashion critique from people who wear sweatpants everyday of their lives and only when the occasion calls for it, puts on a 'cute' dress. Save it peeps. But back on track, I'm just waiting for the day when I can whip out the the spring coats I have and not have to worry about freezing my ears off. I'll keep waiting patiently for the day when I can bid my D&G goodness, despite how faithful it has been to me, "farewell, till next winter." This is the time when I really start to miss the beautiful weather I experienced in London. At least I could put on some balet flats and my feet didn't get cold from the excessive amounts of snow we get here. Snow is only pretty when it is falling from the sky, or precipitating as I like to call it. Once it touches the ground, it is a no go for me. But as long as it doesn't get to be -26 degrees again, I'll survive.
