Head, Heart

Heart weeps.
Head tries to help heart.
Head tells heart how it is, again:
You will lose the ones you love. They will all go. But even the earth will go, someday.
Heart feels better, then.
But the words of head do not remain long in the ears of heart.
Heart is so new to this.
I want them back, says heart.
Head is all heart has.
Help, head. Help heart.

Haircut and Pizzas

So, today I decided on impulse, to get a haircut. It was much needed and it wasn't going to be anything too drastic, with it being so short already and all. I wanted to go for an Agyness Dean look. It ended up being really short and boyish, which I'm all for. But I think I'll like it better once it grows out a little more. Till then, I'll go through life looking like a pre-pubescent boy.

My roommate and I also decided to have a Pizza Night tonight. We needed the grease in our systems badly. Too bad we hardly made a dent in all the food we ordered and so we'll probably be eating pizza and breadsticks for the next week.

Something In The Mail

I can't wait to start experimenting to see what outfits look best with these new booties. They're a little big, but hopefully with a thicker pair of socks, it'll be fine.

The Worst Day Ever

I was reminded today that despite how devastating things may be going, something else could always happen to make it that much worse, like a frozen iPod. I like to be plugged in as often as I can and a faulty iPod won't do that for me. Thank goodness I managed to figure out how to restart it and it seems to be in better shape now. In retrospect, things weren't going that horribly prior to my iPod meltdown. It wasn't too hot, but at least then I had my music to soothe my soul.

What Not To Wear: Eat Your Heart Out

I love this man-jeans look Katie Holmes is sporting. I just need to look for a guy to donate a pair of his jeans to me and I'll be golden.

The First Day of Autumn Has Come Upon Us

High time I busted out the legwarmer look.

Too Young

Just some of my favourite party pictures: a ghastly startled look, a creepy old guy staring us down and moving in sync with my kate spade.
