I'm thinking I actually do like the look of balloons. I don't necessarily like them as tangible objects, but I think their scattered and insouciant freedom is so liberating and uplifting. Maybe I'm just searching for things to brighten up the gloomy and tiresome days I have to go through.
Ahahahahahahaha! These made me laugh and giggle like a schoolgirl. After 11 years in New York, Christoph Niemann moved to Berlin with his wife and their three sons. During the dark German winter, he spends lots of time with his little boys, and after a while, their Legos started to remind him of New York City.
Two-toned lips! Say what?! I'm actually really loving this look. I don't know if I'm daring enough to pull it off though, but what a neat little way to change things up in a subtle way.
www.bando.com All these stunning headbands make me want to purchase some beads and ribbons and feathers and make some of my own. headbands do so much to an outfit and they are by far my favourite accessory right now. Thanks to whoever started the trend again and took the flower child association away from it :)
I absolutely adore the Lego motif on the headband. It combines the two things I love- nostalgic items and cute, feminine headgear. Maybe I should make it a spring break project.
How PoMo! The guerilla makreting for Diesel, titled "Five on Fifth" allowed passers-by to witness intimate dinner parties of famous New Yorkers. A new theme is selected each night, with a club night featuring key dj's like Richie Rich, Kenny Kenny and Patrick McDonald, a sports night with the key players from the New York Giants and then a Fashion night featuring the girls from Ford Models.
